I know what it feels like to have a paper cut. It all started on a Wednesday before lunch in the fourth grade. I was minding my own business when my best friend grabbed my attention. He told me,” take this piece of paper, and slide it between your index and middle finger.” Without question I did.
After that all I could feel is excruciating pain in the little red slit between my fingers. I had no idea a single piece of paper could cause so much pain. I also could not understand why the friend who I trusted since the second grade would want to cause me pain on purpose. I thought about revenge, but I was in so much agony between my fingers; so I was unable to think properly. So I curled my fist in a fist and it turned into turned a fist and my fist grew fist and I cracked him in the face.
Immediately after he started crying I told him to stop, but he wouldn’t listen. He had it coming I thought. In a matter of seconds the teacher had noticed. She was escorting us to the office before I knew it. My heart sank, and I got those butterflies in my stomach. Stupid paper cut got me in trouble I thought.
Murder in the 8th Grade
Who is really to blame for the death of Larry king? Some would say Larry king is to blame for his own death for being to flamboent . Others would say it was Brandon McInery who shoot Larry king in the back of the head in cold blood. He may have been sexually harassed to the point where he saw no other way out, but don’t forget he still murdered a fellow student in school. Joy Epstein also let Larry get away with to much. She herself was a lesbian and protected Larry’s rights to wear girl clothes, but this also put Larry in danger. Joy Epstein in a way encouraged that Larry be out spoken and openly gay which caused problems with the other students. It was her duty to keep Larry safe. She could have told Larry to be openly gay, but wear normal clothes. Also she could have told him to be careful with the other boys. Larry King an openly gay 15 year old 8th grader who used his sexuality as a weapon. Larry would wear girl clothes and paint his nails hot pink, was this the reason why he was killed? No, Larry would sexually harass other boys. Larry asked Brandon if he would be his valentine. This was Brandon’s boiling point. Even though Brandon McInery had been sexually harassed by Larry king. Death isn’t the correct punishment for his actions. Brandon McInery shot Larry king and killed him. Brandon isn’t innocent
Brandon was 14 years old when he murdered 15 year old homosexual Larry King. Although this was wrong of him Brandon does not deserve to spend the rest of his life in prison. There is also no evidence of pre-meditated murder. I think at the time Brandon was so angry he couldn’t think clearly.
Brandon can be rehabilitated , he was so enraged at the time he wasn’t thinking clearly enough to see that his actions would affect everyone around him. He’s not an adult he was in the 8th grade and unaware of his actions. Sometimes people do things without realizing it.
Brandon McInery was a child and you cannot give a child a life sentence. He deserves an elongated juvenile sentence. Although he did murder someone everyone deserves a second chance even a 14 year old 8th grader. I believe Brandon should get out of prison when he’s 30 years old.
Brandon will do time no matter what, but Larry’s parents want a really long sentence which is unfair to Brandon. Brandon couldn’t of possibly woke up that morning and said to himself today I will be a murderer and spend the rest of my life in prison. I believe that the very next day Brandon was still so mad without thing he brought his dads gun to school.
He should be tried as a juvenile and get out when he’s 25. He could live life as any normal person and never look back. Brandon McInery could start his life over with a clear record. Photos Are Kewl

Photographs make us think we understand the world around us, but how can we really know what a photograph is capturing. I think that we do need photographs to give us an example of what its like to experience different things. Photographs do affect our ability to think as human beings. Why do anything? Why experience something new? Photographs and videos make us think we’ve experienced something when we haven’t done anything but looked at an image. Photographs do however fill in the mental blank spots, but just with photos how can we know and understand what certain things looked like in the past. We wouldn’t have an understanding of how things were in the past all of our history would be lost. When you look at a photograph you have a better understanding of things, but when you look at a photograph you can only guess you might never truly understand something. Unless you have text. The onething that is most important to mehas given me hours of pointless fun. I do this everyday when i get home, and every weekend. It keeps me physically fit, and also gives me somthing to do with friends.
That onething is my skateboard. The first skateboard i ever had I got as a christmas gift from my sister. It had a Zero deck, Independent trucks, Zero wheels, and lucky bearings.I remember trying for one whole month just to get down ollies, but when I could finally land one every time I was so happy. My friend and I skated everyday and all summer. Even though he was better than me and rubed it in my face I never gave up.
I remember all the hard work just to even get close to landing a new trick.
Even after you've landed it as high and as clean as possible you want more. It feels like if you don't land it bolts it's not good enough. I feel so strogly about skateboarding that I love it. You might even say im addicted.
To this day I ride skateboard every where I go. I also put time aside everyday for at least a two hour sesh, but this usally turns into three hours and by the time I know it the whole day has gone by. To some this might seem like a waste of time, but it's all I know.
